Ok, this is A LOT of me right here, lol. I am working on detailing some older paintings this week. Getting them all "show ready" I guess you could call it. I am the queen of unfinished business so it has been therapeutic to actually sign off (literally) on some of these.
I love that Frida quote above. Ok I love all Frida quotes but still. The alone thing I can identify so much with and the painting yourself part. I like to think at this point in my life I know myself. I think I pretty much do, well in fact. I hope I can still surprise myself though. You know, like my inner Andie can all of a sudden decide she wants to run off later in life and join the peace corp or something. Ha, wouldn't that be awesome! Or wait, join up with the Sea Shepherd...you know if the crew wasn't such a bunch of idiots I would totally do that one. They serve Vegan meals on board and the home base is only an hour away from me. Of course I do have terrible motion sickness.
