About this event

On Wednesday 18 June the IAS will be hosting an IAS Friends and Fellows Coffee Morning, where they will welcome their new IAS Residential Fellow Associate Professor Cecilia González Tokman, along with current IAS Residential Fellows Dr Andrey V. Ivanov, Dr Maali D. Alshammari and Professor Jeffrey A. Nittrouer, and Externally Funded Fellow Dr Vinícius Teixeira Pinto.

    Supreme Court ruling: Update on practical implications for staff, students and visitors to campus accessing toilet facilities

    Following the UK Supreme Court ruling that in the Equality Act 2010 ‘sex’ means biological sex and as such, workplaces need to provide single sex toilet facilities. The EHRC has provided interim guidance that organisations should continue to adhere to the Equality Act 2010 and ensure protection for all protected characteristics, including trans and non-binary people.
